The durability and aesthetics of aluminium profiles largely depend on the applied surface treatment. ICS Alüminyum supports projects through three basic surface treatments coordinated at partner facilities.

Anodizing

An electrochemical process creates a natural oxide layer on the aluminium surface. This layer is extremely hard and wear-resistant.

Electrostatic Powder Coating

Powder paint is electrostatically applied to the profile surface and cured at 200°C in an oven.

Wood Grain Coating (Sublimation)

Wood grain pattern is transferred onto the powder coating using a special film. Combines aluminium durability with warm wood aesthetics.

How to Choose the Right Coating?
